Over the past few years, I have slowly but surely been drawn into the world of racing. Starting with the odd HPDE track day here and there, moving onto instructing, to finally building a Spec Miata and attaining licenses to race with SCCA and NASA, I've fallen into it hook line and sinker. 2004 has been my first foray into competitive racing, and it has been met with relative success. I'm growing ever more confident in my abilities as a driver, getting faster at learning new venues, and also getting better at feeling out and providing feedback on car setup. My eventual goal is to move into higher echelons of racing as quickly as possible, while never letting go of the the aim to have fun. I feel like with my determination, skill, organization, and love for the sport I can prove a valuable asset to a developing race team in the very near future.
